How does Canology’s trash can cleaning service work? 2016-07-12T03:46:59+00:00

The Canology Crew comes to your neighborhood once every month, the day immediately following a regular trash collection day. This INCLUDES Saturday if your collection day is on a Friday.

There is no need for you to be at home. Just leave the trash cans at the curb, by 8 a.m. the morning of service and our green eco-friendly wash truck will clean, deodorize and sanitize the trash cans right at your curb.

No, your card is billed the last day of the month prior to your scheduled service. You’ll also receive an emailed a receipt, which acts as a reminder for your upcoming service

Our green eco-friendly wash trucks go to different neighborhoods each day. An information package will be emailed to you, which includes the date we will be servicing your neighborhood.

Let us know how you’d like us to remind you. We’ll contact you the day before we come to your home. We can call, text, email you – or all three.

If you absolutely can’t wait until the next time our trucks are scheduled for your neighborhood, we do offer “Emergency Service” – call or email us and we will provide a quote for the additional fees.

Yes. The cost is slightly higher because trash cans, which are not being cleaned regularly, will take much longer to clean.

Can I alternate or rotate cans each cleaning cycle? 2016-05-29T20:20:12+00:00

Sorry but no. Each container has its own identification and only trash cans that have a scheduled service will be cleaned.

What if my HOA will not allow my cans out past a certain time on trash collection day…and certainly not the day after? 2016-06-10T20:39:09+00:00

There are two possible solutions to this problem:

  • You can leave your trash cans up by the garage, the side of the house, or anywhere where we can reasonably have access to them without needing to walk inside an enclosure. We will return them to that same spot when we finish our work. We will only go behind a gate if you give us authorization to do so.
  • In addition, you can give us the contact information to the HOA Board and/or Manager and we will be happy to give them a call to see if we can come up with a solution. Many HOA’s work with us once they understand the health and aesthetic benefits of our service. Quite often the HOAs ask us to come back and serve their entire community and we’re happy to do so at discounted rates.
What if I am away and cannot have my empty trash cans available to you on my service day? 2016-06-10T20:44:28+00:00

Simply call or email us in advance of your cleaning day and we will credit you for that month, skip your cleaning, and see you the following month. Unfortunately, if you do not let us know and we come to your home to provide the service, your account can not be credited.

How will I know when my trash cans have been cleaned and it is OK to bring them inside? 2019-06-10T08:06:37+00:00

This is the best part they’ll look new and smell fresh and clean. In addition, you’ll receive a service confirmation email letting you know that the cans are cleaned, sanitized & deodorized. We also place a Canology tag on each can with your house number printed on the back.

What does Canology do with the dirty water, that’s captured during each day? 2019-06-10T07:48:03+00:00

Great question! At the end of each workday Canology disposes all wash water in an approved manor, the water is processed at local sewage treatment plants and can be used for reclaimed water for irrigation purposes within the communities we serve.

What if your truck does not show up on my scheduled cleaning day? 2016-06-10T20:51:36+00:00

We do our very best to ensure our trucks and the Canology Crew will always be available. In the unlikely event this were to happen, we would let you know as soon as possible and try to reschedule service. If this is not possible, we’ll credit your account and see you the following month.

No problem. When you initially schedule service we ask for your contact information. The day before our green eco-friendly wash trucks come to your neighborhood we will call, text, email you – or all three depending on your preference.
